How it went

The problem
A vehicle production line needed every Electronic Control Unit (ECU) verified before the vehicle left the line - hardware part numbers, software part numbers, and CAN dbc versions.

Our approach
We built a diagnostic tester that reads every ECU, compares each value against the expected configuration, generates a report, and reads and clears Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

The result
Every vehicle is qualified or flagged automatically at the end of the line, so a mismatched or faulty ECU is caught before it ships.
